ORANGE COOKIE

INGREDIENTS
1 tsp orange zest
1/2 cup fresh or packed orange juice
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup besan (gram flour) optional
1 cup powdered sugar (brown or white)
1/2 cup butter


METHOD
Wash and grate orange to get zest. Peel the orange and blend it. Strain it to get juice. You can use packed orange juice.

In a bowl, beat well melted butter, orange juice and sugar.

Add flour and orange zest in it.

Make dough (if it's hard add some more juice or water and if it's loose add more flour)

Make small balls and keep in fridge for 15 minutes.

 Grease the mold and bake it in pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes at 180°C.

Check the surface of cookies, it should be brown or cooked.

I USED BROWN SUGAR FOR BETTER COLOR YOU CAN USE NORMAL WHITE SUGAR TOO.

Serve.

5. Till everything is well incorporated.













6. Add flour and zest.













7. Make dough. Keep in fridge for 15 minutes.













8. Grease baking tray, make small balls.













9. Keep in pre-heated oven and bake for 15 minutes at 180°C













10. After 15 minutes. Check the surface.


















11. Store in air-tight container once cool down.
