JAMMY JAM COOKIES

INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 jam of your choice
3 tbsp milk


METHOD
In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, vanilla essence. Add softened butter and rub it with your hands till it forms breadcrumb like texture.

Add powdered sugar. Add milk little by little making dough.

Divide dough in equal portions. Make small balls and press it gently between your palm.

Take cap of your vanilla essence bottle or any small round shape thing.

Dig it in the balls (not too deep) refer pic no.


You will see the mark of cap. Take knife with sharp edge gently remove that upper layer with it.

Using your finger dig it more very gently to make space for jam.

Take jam in a bowl, mash it well with spoon and mix.

Fill it in the center of ball.

Grease your baking tray. Keep balls leaving space between each cookie.

Pre-heat oven at 180°C and bake it for 15-18 minutes.

Always check cookies from below if it's brown it's baked.

Let cookies rest for 3-4 minutes.

16. Bake it in oven for 15 minutes in pre-heated 180°C


17. Check cookies from below it should be golden in color. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve.
