CHOCOLATE CAKE

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup Whole wheat or All-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup butter
2 large or 3 small eggs
1/2 cup walnut (optional)



 


METHOD
Sieve flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder. Keep aside.

In other bowl, mix well sugar, egg and butter till sugar dissolves.

Add this egg-sugar mixture in flour.

Now add warm milk and make dropping consistency batter.

Pre-heat oven at 180°C.

Take baking tray put plain white paper and grease well with oil. Transfer the batter in it.

Bake it for 25-30 minutes or till its baked from center. Check by piercing knife or fork.

Let cake come down to room temperature.

Turn it upside down, remove the paper.

Dust with icing sugar and decorate with cheery.

4. Add 1 cup warm milk.










5. Mix well and batter should be dropping consistency like this. (This is my little baby's finger. I clicked pic 3-4 times every time she licked it... ;)










6. Keep plain white paper in baking tray and grease it well with oil.










7. Pour the batter in it.










8. Pre-heat oven at 180°C and bake it for 25-30 minutes or till skewer comes out clear from centre of the cake.










9. After 25 minutes. Let cake come down to room temperature.










10. Turn the cake upside down.










11. Remove paper.











12. Take icing sugar or powdered sugar and spread all over the cake.
















13. Decorate with cherries, raspberries or fruit of your kids choice.
