CARROT CAKE

INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat flour
11/2 cup finely grated carrot
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup brown/white sugar
4 eggs
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp baking soda
11/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla essence

METHOD
Whisk wheat flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon powder. Keep aside. In other bowl, mix oil and sugar. Beat well till sugar dissolves.

Beat 4 eggs and vanilla essence well in other bowl. Mix eggs in sugar-oil mix. Beat well.


Mix eggs sugar mixture in sifted flours.

Fold with light hands. Add grated carrot and orange juice. Mix well.

Grease baking tray with oil or butter.

Pre-heat oven at 180°. Bake it for 25-30 minutes.

Serves: 8-10

10. Fold well with soft hands.









11. Add 1/4 cup orange juice.









12. Finally, add 11/2 cup grated carrots in it.









13. Mix well.









14. Grease baking tray with oil or butter.









15. Pour batter in it.










16. Pre-heat oven at 180°C.









17. Bake it for 25-30 minutes.










18. Cake after 25 minutes.










19. Turn it upside down. Wow!










20. Slit it from center.

22. Spread whipped cream all over.










23. Cover it with other part.










24. Spread cream on top and garnish with carrot.
















25. Sprinkle finely grated carrot and serve.
